Seminar “Women, employment and social policy” in Postojna, Slovenia (February 25tth to February 28th 2016) represents the third WONET activity. It opened on Thursday, after 30 participants arrived to Postojna from Italy (Trieste, Dolina), Croatia (Hvar, Zagreb, Krapina), Serbia (Belgrade) and Slovenia – 12 participants from different towns, among whom two long term Slovenian residents, one Russian and one Spanish. This certainly contributed to the international WONET exchange. Local project partner LAS Društvo za razvoj hosted the seminar in Hostel Proteus and moderation was provided by City Municipality Savski venac from Belgrade, SVETLOST organization from Sabac and CESI organization from Zagreb.

CMEPIUS organization, as a Slovenian National Contact Point for programme Europe for Citizens, organized presentation of the Programme in Postojna, Slovenia, in December 2015, for local CSOs and institutions which work in the area of Postojna.

The first presentation of the program Europe for Citizens in 2016 was held on January 25th in Belgrade, attended by over 50 representatives of civil society organizations and local governments from across Serbia.

27th session of the Assembly of City Municipality Savski venac was held on Wednesday, December 30th 2015 starting at 16:00 in premises of Municipality Administration in Kneza Milosa street nr. 69/I, in the big hall. The Assembly of Municipality has 37 representatives in total, 31 of whom were present on 27th session.

Second seminar within the project WONET was realized from 3rd till 6th of December in Cultural Centre France Prešeren in Boljunec, village in the Municipality of San Dorligo, Italy. San Dorligo della Vale is the beautiful small municipality on the very border with Slovenia, near Trieste. The most of the population are Slovenians. The part of the municipality is the Val Rosandra Regional Nature Reserve.

The seminar topic was “Women, politics and media”. There were 35 participants from four countries: Croatia, Italy, Slovenia and Serbia.
